The academic\/fiscal year in Japan is from April 1 to March 31. New members are also required to pay a registration fee of 1,000 JPY for the first academic year.<\/p><h2>How to pay<\/h2><p>We accept payment by credit card and by money order payable to the Japan Statistical Society.
