[1] Membership due

Annual membership due is 8,000 JPY. New member is also required to pay initial fee of 1,000 JPY, so JSS will charge you 9,000 JPY for each academic year. An acedemic/fiscal year in Japan starts from the beginning of April and ends at the end of March.

[2] How to pay the due

We are sorry that we do not accept any credit card payment.  Most oversea members pay by money order payable to JSS. You will find all the necessary information on the invoice.

[3] Membership privileges

• English journals (JJSS) , 2 volumes per year
• Japanese journals, (JJSS Ser. J), 2 volumes per year
• News letter, 4 issues per year (all written in Japanese)
• Eligible for giving a talk at Japanese Joint Statistical Meeting
    (Registration fee is required apart from annual membership fee.)
  Eligible for attending JSS Spring Meeting
